Key point. Originum is Elementera's expertise-to-content product. For each topic you need to win, a guided interview captures what you know, Originum turns it into pages, blog posts and social posts aimed at the questions your buyers ask AI engines, and each draft gets an originality score. It is open to Elementera clients today, and it starts with a call.
You know things about your customers, your market and your craft that nobody has published. That material is what generic content cannot copy, and most founders never find the hours to write it down. Originum is for people with the expertise and not the time: you answer questions, and the writing starts from your answers. Expertise in, original content out.
Who is Originum for?
Originum is for startup founders, small-business owners and content creators in Canada and the United States who know their field and have little time to write. If you have years of customer stories, hard-won opinions and numbers from your own business, and your website and blog say little of it, Originum is built for you.
How does Originum work?
Originum works in five steps, and what you learn in the last step feeds the next round.
- Start from your strategy. Originum starts from your vision, your goals, your ideal customers, what you know that competitors don't, and the stories and data that prove it.
- Pick the topics you need to win. Originum ties each topic to your business goals and to the AI engines your buyers use, so every piece has a job.
- Interview with Originum for each target. For each topic, a guided interview draws out your customer stories, examples, numbers and opinions. Your knowledge is captured, not written.
- Turn your domain expertise into original content. Originum writes product and service pages, blog posts and social posts from your answers, each aimed at one topic on one engine, and gives each draft an originality score.
- Measure the win. Lenz tracks AI visibility on ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Grok, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode, and the gaps become questions for your next interview.
What does the interview cover?
Each interview covers what only you can say about one topic: the customers it involves, the experiences behind your opinions, the insights and industry trends you follow, and the anecdotes you tell clients. You answer in your own words, and every draft starts from those answers rather than from a blank prompt.
Bring the questions your customers ask you most. They are often the same questions buyers type into ChatGPT or Gemini before they ever contact you.
Why start with an interview instead of a prompt?
An interview starts from facts only you have, and a prompt cannot supply them. We tested this ourselves: "We asked two OpenAI writer models to write short, publishable expert copy answering 38 questions whose answers exist only in our own unpublished measurements. Across 71 answers, none got the fact right (0 of 71; 95% interval 0% to 5%)."
Specific material also matters to the engines that write answers. A research benchmark of generative engines found that adding quotations, statistics and citations to a source made it more visible in their answers (Aggarwal et al., KDD 2024, verified October 21, 2026). That was a lab benchmark, not a measurement of live engines, but the direction is clear enough to act on: give engines something specific to quote.
What does Originum write?
Originum writes the content a growing business actually publishes: product and service pages, blog posts and social posts. Each piece is aimed at one topic cluster on one AI engine, so you publish a few pieces that serve your strategy instead of hundreds of interchangeable articles. Strategic content, not mass AEO.
You read and edit every draft, and you decide what to publish and where.
What is the originality score?
The originality score shows how much of a draft comes from your own material rather than from what is already published. Originum gives each draft an originality score. Original material is the part of a page nobody else can publish, which is why it is the part we score.
Which AI engines does Originum track?
Originum tracks your AI visibility through Lenz on seven engines: ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Grok, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode. Lenz is our AI visibility platform, and each engine is reported on its own, because each one reads different parts of the web. Where you are missing, the gap becomes a question for your next interview.
How is Originum different from an AI writer, an agency or a ghostwriter?
Originum starts from your own knowledge and gives each draft an originality score; the other options start from a prompt or from a writer's hours. The table compares the options by what they start from.
| Option | What it starts from | Fits when |
|---|---|---|
| AI writing tool | A prompt and what the model already knows | You need volume on topics where your own knowledge adds little |
| Agency or ghostwriter | Interviews and a writer's time on each piece | You want a person to write every piece and have the budget for it |
| Originum | A guided interview and your own material, with an originality score on each draft | You have the expertise and want content that carries it, without writing from scratch |
| The Supervised plan (our managed AEO service) | Our team, from strategy to publishing and measurement | You want all of it done for you, from A to Z |
How do I start with Originum?

Frequently asked questions
Do I have to write anything?
No. You answer Originum's interview for each topic in your own words, and Originum writes the drafts from your answers. Your part after that is to read, correct and publish. The more specific your answers are, with real numbers, customer stories and opinions, the more of each draft is yours.
Will AI-written content hurt my search rankings?
Not for being written with AI. Google says "appropriate use of AI or automation is not against our guidelines" and that it rewards "original, high-quality content" however it is produced. What Google acts against is automation used mainly to manipulate rankings. That is why Originum starts from your own material and not from a prompt.
Which AI engines does Originum track?
Through Lenz, our AI visibility platform, Originum tracks AI visibility on ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Grok, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode. Each engine is reported on its own, because each one reads different parts of the web.
Can Originum guarantee that AI engines will cite my content?
No. No one controls what an AI engine writes. Originum gives you original material from your own knowledge and tracks where you appear, engine by engine, so you can see what moved and what did not.
How is Originum related to Lenz?
Lenz is our AI visibility dashboard: it shows where AI engines name you and where they name others instead. Originum turns what you know into the content those gaps call for. A new Lenz account includes one free analysis, the quickest way to see where you stand before a call.
